Divoridee/ Giuseppe Vitale / ilmiolibro.it

"Burrat mė tė fuqishėm nė botė shpejti do tė jetė pluhur dhe nė pluhur do tė bėhet pasuesve tė tyre, nė njė blic. Gjithmonė." ėndrrat thye pėr tė dy, fėmijė tė fuqishme.

Autori fyerje e lexuesit.
Para iluzion, ai ka buzėqeshje, tregon njė dritėz shprese, pastaj gris duke pėrdorur njė sarkastik brez tė fortė qė vulosi me gjėmim nė mendjet dhe veshėt e lexuesit naiv, duke lėnė njė gungė nė fytin tim.
Teksti i vogle dhe numri i aplikantit 17 faqe, mė shumė se njė gabim shtypi, duket se pėr tė provuar e kembengulje e lexuesit.

A doni te rrezikut?

Like the works of Medardo Rosso and Michelangelo require the eye of the viewer to be complete, Giuseppe Vitale's stories require the attention of the mind's eye, forcing the reader to reflection.

"I tear off the wrappings of ideas, hoping to find matter, substance, existence inside. So far, only empty space, but I will not give up."
The author, Giuseppe Vitale, young emerging Sicilian writer who has joined the great self-publishing website developed by Repubblica and L'espresso, introduces his book.

Divoridee is a collection of 34 stories written according the stream of consciousness technique, where mind and reality merge. The free wandering of thoughts, clear in their disorder, highlights the dramatic and sometimes absurd tragicomedy of everyday life.

All stories are soaked with hard truth, some of them unfinished.
Like the works of Medardo Rosso and Michelangelo need the eye of the viewer to be finalized, the stories require the attention of the mind's eye, forcing the reader to think hard in order to come to a conclusion, mostly indigestible.

The book discusses various topics such as unceasingly fought war; questions that religion won’t answer; the illusion of youngsters trying to change the unfair, dominant status, but soon get corrupted by it; relative truth; freedom which does not exist "because men do not want to be free" ; the sense of life that, in fact, is a non-sense for "the man who knew everything" ; diversity unacceptable as such, rejected and despised. And then there's the defeat that unites mankind.

There are emperors, kings, businessmen captured in their fragility.
"The most powerful men in the world will soon be dust, and dust their successors will be, in a flash. Forever."
Dreams get shattered, for both the demonstrators and the powerful ones.
The author mocks the reader. At first he deceives him, he makes him smile, pointing to a glimmer of hope, that soon is ripped off by stiff sarcasm blasting in the candid reader’s mind and ears, leaving a lump in his throat.

The entirely lowercase written text and recurring number 17s on bottom corners of the pages aren’t misprints at all, but seem to test the tenacity of the reader. I recommend to read the book - and reread it. It’s an interesting one. Literary allusions are to be found, of which I won’t tell you, to let you enjoy the discovery.

The author intends to move sleeping consciences, to embarrass the reader, aiming to cause the arise of clashing feelings: anger, disappointment, amusement, bewilderment. And, as for me, he perfectly succeeded. But, as Martin Luther King said, "we must accept disappointment that is limited, but we must never lose infinite hope."

I advise not to get too involved, it could hurt you.
Take it easy, rather like a boost to look for something else, to go beyond appearance.
"These are tales of ordinary madness. Flights of fancy and crazy dreams, nightmares perhaps. They could change your life. Will you take the risk?

Punta a scaturire in lui sentimenti contrastanti: rabbia, delusione, divertimento, sconcerto.

Voli pindarici e pazzi sogni, forse incubi. Potrebbero cambiarti la vita. Vuoi rischiare?".
